The same day Amy and I went to the Chocolate Museum and Cafe, we went out to dinner with Elaine and Juan to the Hash House. This restaurant was cool because it was made like a barn and had some unique decor on the inside, it even had a tractor. The good thing is that this restaurant had coupons you could buy and use.
But let’s get on to the food. Amy and I ordered some chips, salsa and homemade guacamole. Now you would think, why would you get that when you could have got any other appetizer? Well for us it was simple, we just love some good chips, salsa, and guacamole. Juan and Elaine chose to get the candied bacon, which Amy stated was outstanding. For our entrees, I ordered the nine layered eggs benedict which was fabulous. Amy and Juan chose the chicken and waffles, and Elaine had the sirloin steak.
When you see these pictures you will understand why this place is a must visit. The waffles had bacon cooked inside, with huge chicken breast pounded out on top. The nine layer eggs benedict had mashed potatoes, tomatoes, biscuits, scrambled eggs, gravy, 2 chicken breasts pounded out, and cheese all piled up together. And then the sirloin Elaine had was huge as well. It was about 2 lbs of steak on top of mashed potatoes with onions rings on top, with sauteed carrots, green beans, and asparagus. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere was outstanding.
So the next time you are in Orlando and want a great meal, go and check out the Hash House a Go-Go on International Blvd. You’ll be glad you did.
